Terms and conditions
generally
The Terms and Conditions page clearly outlines what your website users and customers can and cannot do when using your online store services. This is a legal document, prepared with the assistance of legal professionals to ensure it contains all relevant information.
Generally, your terms and conditions should list all terms of your service and provide warnings about misuse and/or abuse of those terms. If your service includes order fulfillment, returns, etc., you should include the relevant terms in designated sections. The following is for reference only; you will need to provide your own legally applicable terms and conditions.
Place an order
This section explains what happens after a customer places an order on your website. It should include what happens on your store's end (e.g., sending a confirmation email, verifying with the supplier), and what the user should expect on their end.
Consider details such as the relationship between order confirmation and actual payment received, pricing, when and how users can cancel orders, and when and how your store can refuse or cancel orders.
Placing an order
This is where you should address your store's available delivery options, the shipping process, if available, delivery times, factors which may potentially delay delivery, parcel tracking and more.
This section could be a good place to mention any delivery restrictions and relevant shipping disclaimers.
Returns & refundsa
This is where you should address your store's returns and refunds policies. Think about the conditions customers will have to meet in order to make a return, detail the process, how long it will take, and whether you'll be offering a complete refund or store credit.
This is a good place to list any disclaimer your store will have regarding returns and refunds. Think about things like returning products in their original, unused condition, date of return vs. the date of purchase, etc.
