The MoTeC M150 is a representative of the M1 series ECUs. It features a compact and lightweight magnesium alloy housing and is an engine controller for direct injection/manifold injection, equipped with a large-capacity data recording memory. The core concept of the M1 series is to break through the traditional limitation of "one firmware for one ECU" by using a modular firmware kit design, allowing the same hardware to flexibly meet various complex engine control and racing regulations.

Key Highlights

Highly customized and secure mechanisms

The M150 offers three configuration architectures: Locked, Standard, and Open, allowing users to choose according to competition regulations or usage requirements. The Open architecture even supports third-party developers writing custom control logic using the MoTeC M1 Build software, providing near-limitless customization flexibility. The entire system employs public-key encryption for security and allows for different levels of access passwords to be set for different personnel (such as engine tuners, transmission tuners, and data analysis engineers), making it particularly suitable for professional racing teams with strict monitoring requirements.

Advanced engine control capabilities

It supports modern engines' electronic throttle body (DBW), variable valve timing (Cam Control), and CAN Bus communication, and features customizable fuel injection drive characteristics and trigger diagnostics. All Low Side and Half Bridge outputs support PWM control. It also supports advanced applications such as Flex Fuel, secondary fuel injection systems, closed-loop boost control, and multi-mode tuning strategies.

Powerful data recording and analysis

It features high speed, multiple log files (including access control), I/O expansion and Pro Analysis advanced analysis capabilities, and provides a flexible software interface for tuning.

    Applicable to

From simple naturally aspirated engines to complex racing systems like dual electronic throttles, quad overhead cam superchargers, and sequential gearboxes, the M150 can handle it all. It can also be extended to control systems for modified vehicles such as air conditioning, and offers four customizable outputs. The M150 also offers a Ruggedised version with an IP67 waterproof rating, suitable for harsh, humid, or dusty environments.

⚠️ Reminder: M1 series ECUs require a separate firmware license to operate. The firmware kits vary in level and price depending on the application requirements. It is recommended to confirm the corresponding race rules and functional requirements with the customer before placing an order.
The prices above do not include firmware license fees.
